New carrier appointments typically process in 3–7 business days, though some carriers take longer. Moving existing contracts out of a prior hierarchy is the slow clock: it follows each carrier's release rules and can take up to about 90 days. Our contracting team (led by Katja) manages all of it — you submit one application through our Jotform and we handle the rest across all carriers and lines of business.
Yes. Your book of business belongs to you. When you transfer to Benefits Life, your existing clients come with you. And if you ever want to leave, our Open Release policy means we process your release as quickly as we can — no waiting periods, no "for cause" requirement, no fees.
Nothing. There is no cost to contract with Benefits Life. As a contracted agent you also receive free access to AskRamona AI, AgentHive portal, 50% marketing co-op, and Regus meeting space co-op — all included. MedicareCopilot CRM is available at a heavy discount. MedicareSuite launches to Benefits Life agents first, ahead of public availability in 2027.
All agents directly contracted with Benefits Life are eligible for 50% reimbursement on approved marketing expenses — including direct mail, digital ads, community events, seminars, and branded materials. Submit your campaign to Benefits Life for approval before you run it — all co-op marketing must be approved in advance and fully CMS-compliant. Once approved, run it and submit your receipts for 50% reimbursement. The co-op applies to Medicare lines of business only. Benefits Life offers a Regus office co-op program that's separate from the marketing co-op. Agents set up their office or meeting space access directly on Regus.com at any U.S. location. Benefits Life pays 50% of the cost, and the agent pays the remaining 50% back to Benefits Life. The result: you can work from home and only use professional space when you need it — with your out-of-pocket cost cut in half.
Request a release from your current FMO (we can help you with the process). Once released, complete our contracting form and we'll get you appointed with your carriers. Appointments typically process in 3–7 business days once your release lands. Your client relationships remain yours throughout: you stay the servicing agent and keep your personal renewal commissions. Carrier hierarchy treatment varies — release windows can run up to 90 days, and override compensation on existing business generally stays with the prior hierarchy. We map the timing carrier by carrier before you commit.
